Vashon-Maury Island Park and Recreation District is an invaluable asset that should be supported. It provides programs and facilities for all islanders from toddlers to senior citizens. That is why I am voting “yes” For Proposition 1 when I receive my ballot this week. I urge all voters to do the same.

The Park District commissioners and executive director are to be commended for listening to the voters and crafting a plan that maintains and expands programs and facilities, while not overburdening the taxpayers.

Vote “yes” for parks and recreation!
