Several Pirates named to Nisqually all-league teams

The Nisqually League recently made its awards and named its first and second all-league basketball teams, and several VHS players made the list.

The league’s most valuable player award was given to Ken West, the tall Bellevue Christian swingman who dominated the Bellevue Christian attack for the last two years.

The first team, all Nisqually League, was awarded to Parker Johnson, Cascade Christian; Tommy Delargy, Vashon Island; Nathan Larsen, Cascade Christian; Andy Moyer, Bellevue Christian; and Connor Knack, Seattle Christian.

The second team, all Nisqually League, was awarded to Colin Pottinger, Vashon Island; Jeremiah Bogaard, Vashon Island; Jacob Chavez, Vashon Island; Nathaniel Hosannah, Charles Wright; Dane Jacobsen,Charles Wright and Griffin Hopkins, of Bellevue Christian.
