Soccer schedule heats up after strong start

The boys’ varsity soccer team played its final non-conference game last Thursday against the Marching Eagles at Klahowya High School.

Despite missing players due to spring break and injury, Vashon earned a hard-fought tie against a strong opponent. The Pirates are currently in first place in league play with a 3-0-0 record and have an overall record of 8-1-2.

The Pirates quest for a playoff spot continues with five remaining conference games: 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 17 at home against Cascade Christian after press time; 6 p.m. at Marymoor Park on April 23 against Bellevue Christian; 3:30 p.m. April 25 at Starfire against Seattle Christian; 6 p.m. April 29 at home against Bellevue Christian; and 7 p.m. May 1 at Charles Wright.
