Richard “Richie” Lee Campuzano

Richard “Richie” Lee Campuzano of Vashon Island died June 24, 2006, after a short battle with cancer. His wife Jenna was by his side. He was 32 years old.
Throughout his battle he never lost his sense of humor and never failed to make people laugh, his friends and family say.
Survivors include his wife Jenna and daughter Sophia, his parents, Roger and Vina Montez of Vashon and Rodney and Judy Campuzano of Bend, Ore., sisters Davette and her husband Merv Chantland of Norwalk, Calif., Teressa Montez of Vashon and Tricia Montez of 29 Palms, Calif., brothers Randy Campuzano and Roger and his wife Vanessa Campuzano of Phoenix, Ariz., grandparents Alvin and Phyllis Harding of Santa Maria, Calif. and Henry and Virginia Campuzano of Bend, Ore.
And lots of nieces and nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers and at his request, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the benevolence account set up at Washington Mutual for his daughter Sophia.
