Diana Dee Dunn

Diana Dee Dunn, a former Vashon Islander, died Aug. 4, 2006. She was 59 years old.

She had spent her last 17 years as a resident of Astoria and Warrenton, Ore.

She was born Aug. 30, 1946, in Seattle, to Phyllis and Pete Dunn of Vashon Island, where she spent her younger years.

She completed school in Matlock (Shelton area), Wash. After school she left for the sunny shores of Long Beach, Calif., where she lived for some eight years before returning to Seattle.

Her lust for travel still not satisfied, she decided to go to Alaska where she lived and worked on the Kenai Peninsula. From there she went to Astoria. At the time of passing Diana was working for Northwest Ride Center.

Survivors include a sister, Karen Keil of Warrenton, Ore.; brother Mike Dunn and sister Sara Dunn, both of Vashon Island; nephews George Swift of SeaTac, Mike Keil of Puyallup; David Webster of Denver, Colo.; nieces Holly Keene and Mathilda Dunn of Seattle and Melissa Dunn, Tacoma.
