Letter to the editor: Earth Day has become another excuse to consume (May 5, 2010)

Am I the only one that found it odd that Thriftway was celebrating “Earth Day” with a front page ad sale on grapes transported from Chile? Sadly, Earth Day appears to have become just another day to sell and consume.
