Judith Marie (Quinlan) Stevenson, 75, passed away on January 23, 2016, in Green Valley, Arizona.
Judi was born on January 8th, 1941, in Deer Lodge, Montana, to Bette J. and Thomas J. Quinlan. Her youth was spent on the family farm in the south Deer Lodge Valley where she graduated from Powell County High School in 1959, heading off to The University of Montana in Missoula.
In the summer of 1960. Judi married her Deer Lodge beau, Adrian (Steve) Stevenson, moving first to Chicago, Illinois, and Columbus, Indiana, and finally to Vashon Island, Washington, in 1972 where they settled with their daughter, Heide. Throughout the years, Judi immersed herself in the study and practice of healing arts and philosophies – the Baha’i faith, Transcendental meditation, the Bowen technique, and achieved the status of Reiki Master. She also expressed herself through her exceptional talents in weaving, cooking, gardening and decorating.
In 2007, Judi made a life change and moved to Green Valley, Arizona, to live out her remaining years. She is preceded in death by her former spouse (Adrian Stevenson) and is survived by her daughter Heide Stevenson, granddaughter Rachel Emery, sister Linda Quinlan and niece Quincie Albrecht.
