LETTER: VISD bond passage is epitome of greed and arrogance

Joni wants to thank Vashon’s voters for passing the school bond.
Joni and I have four surviving children. Our first two, Grace and Harmony, had special needs. Since education was so underfunded their needs weren’t met; they died in the early 1980s. Our second two children, Greed and Arrogance, are doing very well. They’re young lawyers now looking to become lawmakers. Joni got pregnant with our daughter, Gluttony, in 2006 after Vashon’s realtors advertised Vashon Island in the New York Times. Gluttony intends to take as much as she can get and breed like her mother.
Joni was so happy with the new high school building she got pregnant with our sixth child. I insisted we name the little boy Sorrow. Since Sorrow isn’t the best and brightest, he will never be able to afford real estate. Joni doesn’t care. To her, every child is a favor for God. Joni’s been peopling around the neighborhood for years. Now that we’re getting a new track and field, Joni’s ready to go: She’s going to people all over the island.
Joni has harsh words for the ‘No’ voters. You couldn’t stop us last time and you couldn’t do it this time. We’re going to build this island for growing families like ours. If you can’t keep up with the growth and tax we impose, just like Grace and Harmony, you will be disposed of. So go ahead: people your pants. Fancy schools are what families demand.
