School and park districts should provide more access to track and field

Scott Harvey’s letter hits the nail on the head about the highly restrictive rules governing islanders’ opportunity to exerciseat our new high school track (“Acess policy is not good for all,” Nov. 29). Not open on holidays. Open weekends at 9 a.m.,etc.

Surely the school district and the park district will lessen the currently overly restrictive opportunities to allow ourcommunity greater and more realistic access.
