On the morning of Saturday, March 30, members of the Vashon Pride Alliance gathered at the Ober Park Park N’ Ride to commence a roadside clean-up of trash along Vashon Highway leading all the way through town. The event has been a tradition since the 1990s.

The group, dressed in rainbow attire, organized the clean-up in order to fulfill a commitment to clean 2 miles of road twice a year – doing so will allow the Pride Alliance to post its sign back up on the Adopt-A-Road post just north of the Burton Adventure Recreation Park.
