Park District van transports Vashon elders in need

The new Park District Van will transport six clients who attend the Vashon Elders’ Arts, Activities and Respite Program at theVashon Lutheran Church to Music Mends Minds at Vashon Community Center on June 11. Without this van, clients withAlzheimer’s, other forms of dementia, or brain injuries would have to miss an event that brings great joy to their lives.Thank you to the Vashon Park District for providing this greatly needed service in such a user-friendly manner.
