Food bank benefits from fruit stand owner

Without exception, the East West Produce stand has donated unsold fruits and vegetables to the Vashon Community Food Bank every week of operation this summer. A whopping 1,908 pounds of cherries, peaches, apples, green beans, corn, peppers, tomatoes, eggplant and more were distributed to island neighbors facing food insecurity.
