Hospital district on Dems’ meeting agenda

The upcoming 34th Legislative District Democrats meeting will have special significance for Vashon. This November, Vashon will vote on the creation of a public hospital district to be funded through tax dollars. At the same time, Vashon residents will vote for five commissioner positions for the proposed public hospital district. The public hospital district campaign has requested to be on the agenda of the 34th District Democrats’ October meeting with a request for an endorsement. If you are a member of the 34th District Democrats, it is important that you be present to vote. Please join Vashon PCOs and other members on Wednesday, Oct. 9, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Hall at Fauntleroy, 9131 California Ave. SW, Seattle, so that your voice is heard.
