Openings available for Parents as Teachers Program
Due to new staff hires at Vashon Youth & Family Services (VYFS), there are several openings for families interested in VYFS’ Parents as Teachers (PAT) program.
This program fosters positive growth in relationships between parents and children to develop a strong social-emotional foundation and positive attachments.
The PAT program is designed for parents of children ages zero to three, and PAT Family Support Specialists partner with families through regular home visits designed to facilitate parent-child interaction and bonding, measure healthy development, provide guidance to parents and more.
If your family would benefit from the PAT program, please contact Elba Ocasio at 206-348-4252.
