Edna Gordon died July 28, 2005, in Seattle. She was 93 years old.
She was born and raised in Seattle, attending Franklin High School and Pacific Lutheran University.
She worked in management at Pacific Northwest Bell for 41 years. She was a member of the Washington Athletic Club and the Swedish Club.
Her main interests were her family and her Maury Island beach home where she enjoyed walking and exploring.
She also was interested in conversation and dancing. Her family says they will miss her deeply.
Survivors include her sister Jane Beczo and brother-in-law Bill of Seattle, her nieces Barb Smith and her husband Doug of Vashon and Pat Desgroseillier of Roy and nephew Bill Beczo Jr. and wife Stephanie Selig of Seattle. She also was a great aunt to Erin and Shannon O’Malley and Elizabeth Desgroseillier.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at the Horizon House, 900 University Street, Seattle, in the Sky Lounge.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be sent in her name to University Presbyterian Church Children’s Department or the charity of choice.
