Each year, Harbor School students award commendations to six of their peers, each of whom represents a particular cornerstone value so strongly as to be an example for all. The cornerstone values are a set of principles that provide guidance and lessons to all Harbor School students through their academic achievements and peer relationships.

This year’s recipients are, seated left to right in the photo, Tuula Beck (5th grade) – Responsibility, Katherine Ellison (7th grade) – Accountability, and Rose Jewell Peterson (6th grade) – Respect. Standing are Head of School Mark McGough, and students Laura Erickson (8th grade) – Integrity, Freddy Langley (7th grade) – Personal Best, and Morgan Sennott (8th grade) – Compassion.
