Through the cooperative efforts of the Vashon Medical Reserve Corps and the Vashon Community Emergency ResponseTeam, over 70 Vashon residents have been tested for COVID 19 at the historic Mukai Farm and Gardens. Beginning this week, COVID testing operations will be moved to the Open Space for Arts & Community and will continue daily from 3 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Anyone on the island with symptoms may call 844-469-4554 or go to testing.vashonbeprepared.org on the Internet to be screened and scheduled.
At this time, we would like to thank our very gracious and supportive hosts at Friends of Mukai and at Open Space for Arts & Community. They have worked hand in hand with us to make testing possible on our island. We also want to recognize the ongoing work and dedication of the many volunteers who continue to give generously of their time and effort.
