Frank Brown Jr. | 1931-2025

Frank Louis Brown Jr. passed away peacefully in his home on Sept. 18, 2025.

Frank was born on Oct. 21, 1931 and lived all of his 93 years on Vashon, except for the two years he was in Korea with the U.S. Army.

He was a second-generation islander, the son of Frank L. Brown Sr. and Flora Mace Brown. He is survived by children Georgia Galus, Dorothy Thompson, Vernon Learned and Lauraly Martinez.

He was a true island character and there are many stories we could share but he wanted a short obituary.

He will be buried at Vashon Cemetery next to his wife, Anita, in a private ceremony.
