A big name in comedy is coming to Vashon Theatre this week, to perform in a live show that will also feature a classic car show and lively music by a local band.
Island music aficionados will be transported to the streets, garrets and cafés of Paris this month, when Giacomo Puccini’s beloved opera, La Bohème, springs to life on the stage of Vashon High School on Sept. 18 and 20.
Hans York, a 2008 winner at the Kerrville Folk Festival, will return to Vashon for a concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, at the Land Trust Building.
