Roncone was born and raised in upstate New York. In 2002, she moved to the Pacific Northwest, where she began to take her poetry more seriously.                                She hosted a poetry open mic in Seattle for more than 10 years before moving to Vashon to enjoy the quiet and wild.                                She recently published the poetry anthology “Three Birds Dreaming” with two other poets, one from the island, to celebrate writing a poem a day for more than six years.
