Vashon’s Einstein, Patrick McManus, dies at 74

As an Einstein look-alike, Patrick traveled the world appearing as the famed German physicist.

This map from King County shows the eastern portion (outlined in red) of Island Center Forest where hunting will not be allowed and trails will be open to the public during this year's deer hunt. The rest of the park is fair game for hunters.

A Buffalo Soldier on Vashon is finally recognized

Benjamin Louis Glover served in the Army and retired in 1929 to become a music teacher in Seattle.
