A ferry lands on the north end of Vashon, one stop on the so-called "triangle route," which serves Vashon, Southworth and West Seattle. The route has been reduced to two-boat service for years, but will be restored to three-boat service this summer, according to a recent state announcement. However, maintaining that three-boat service will require actually having all the necessary boats in service.
