Dockton Park playground to close temporarily for final construction stage

The closure is anticipated to last one to two months.

The recently completed new Dockton Park playground will close for one to two months starting Feb. 29 for crews to complete various construction projects, including warranty work on the surfacing and installation of safety fencing, according to the King County Parks department.

King County anticipates that the work will take “one to two months,” and said the playground will be fully complete, including the long-awaited addition of swings, when it reopens.
