The Vashon Farmers Market wrapped up on Friday, September 27.

Vashon Island Growers Association (VIGA) made sure lots of cider was pressed and sipped, and kids had their own fully human-powered set up — sharing the “liquid gold” with anyone who wanted a taste. Another press was running for folks who brought their own apples and jugs to take home cider. Nearby, a gaggle of kids played tunes on their violin for the crowd.

The market is a production of VIGA.
