Michael Quenneville passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Tacoma Lutheran Retirement Home in Tacoma, WA, Saturday, February 15, 2020. He was 90 years old.

Michael was born in Detroit, Michigan, on December 16, 1929. Mike is survived by his wife Nancy and three living daughters, Suzette, Michelle and Renee. His grandchildren are Martanda, Mendal, Darvin, Jolie, Sophie & Madison. His great-grandchildren are Kaya, Osias, Collin, Jada Rae, Claire & Finley.

Mike served in the Airforce during the Korean War as a mechanic and afterward in the air force reserves and National Guard. He helped found Puget Consumers Coop in Seattle, WA, and was Kiwanis president 1998 to 1999 on Vashon. He volunteered with Saint Vincent De Paul doing outreach to individuals living on Vashon who were experiencing homelessness and other difficulties. Mike’s Funeral Mass will be held at Saint John Vianney Catholic Church on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at noon with a potluck to follow at 1 p.m.
