Wayne Cornett passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2010. He was 73 years old. A long time former Vashon resident and business owner, Wayne had many friends, family and acquaintances here over the years. He was a true jack-of-all trades: boat builder, Alaska fisherman, sea captain, auto-body repairman, mechanic, airplane pilot, welder, carpenter, artist and sculptor. If he could think of it, he could build it. Wayne was a man of passion and integrity, but above all else he was a real “character” in the every sense of the word.

We will miss him dearly.
