GOOD FOOD FOR A GOOD CAUSE: Visitors from Yosemite stop to buy treats from a bake sale outside Thriftway last Thursday. The sale was the work of these eighth-grade students (with a little help from their parents) to offset some of the expense recent vandalism brought to the Vashon Island School District. The girls raised $493 in five hours.
