Volleyball team takes tough losses

The Vashon High School volleyball team played two lively but frustrating matches last week and lost both contests.

On Monday, Sept. 24, the team took a loss at Life Christian.

Two nights later at a match at Charles Wright, Vashon started out with a two-game lead, only to lose in a 2-3 tiebreaker.

Vashon reached the midway point of their season when they hosted Cedar Park, a team new to the league, on Monday after press deadline. On Wednesday the team took on Eatonville at home.
