Naturopath moves clinic to former dental office

Nicole Maxwell, ND, opened her doors this week at her new clinic location, the former dental office of Dr. Ann Mayeda.

Maxwell, who has practiced on Vashon since 2009, most recently at her office in the Cunning-ham Build-ing across from Café Luna, said she is pleased to move to the space on Vashon Highway by True Value.

There, she said, she has three treatment rooms, space to have a front office person and a medicinary, where people can purchase supplements. The office is also handicapped accessible and considerably more visible.

“I am very excited,” she said.

Her new office also has room for another provider, she noted, and she would like to have a nurse practitioner or medical doctor work with her and be able to take a broader range of insurance than she can. Initially, she said, she will be open four days a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays through Saturdays.

She hopes to host an open house later this month or next.
