Thank you to those who volunteer to write

I want to express appreciation for the parents who write about Vashon sports for The Beachcomber. Even though I’m not a big sports fan, I’ve found myself drawn in by the skillful writing and photos. I’m sure these parents get little or nothing for these stories, so thanks.

And a special shout-out to Cheryl Pruett, not only for colorful writing but for sharing the personal and touching story of how a concussion can affect a whole family and community.
