Hans Youngmann, an arborist and founder of the Big Ol’ Vashon Tree Love Society, showed members of Vashon’s Cub Scout Pack 275 how to plant an alder seedling on a tree tour of the Judd Creek Trail — an outing by the Cub Scouts that took place on Feb. 12.
