“Everyone deserves the chance to dance,” said TK Rose, the eight-year-old dance student at VCA and arts enthusiast who was elected to be Vashon’s next Unofficial Mayor during Strawberry Festival last weekend. TK’s candidacy supported the Blue Heron Education Center’s Scholarship Fund, which keeps the arts accessible to Vashon’s youth.
