Families are not alone, can support one another

It’s been just a week now since about 125 caring Vashon citizens spent the afternoon learning all about Alzheimer’s disease.

It’s been just a week now since about 125 caring Vashon citizens spent the afternoon learning all about Alzheimer’s disease. It was a powerful presentation and has left me thinking all week about it and wondering if there are any support groups here on Vashon for those suffering this illness and their families or caregivers.

I am very interested in meeting with others who may be interested in pursuing the possibility of having a support system, or if there already is one, being able to link up with it and help in some way.
