Classical music series will feature renowned artists, Beethoven sonatas

Vashon Allied Arts’ Classical Series will present an afternoon of Beethoven’s sonatas played by two renowned musicians, Angelo Rondello and Brittany Boulding, at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Blue Heron.

Vashon Allied Arts’ Classical Series will present an afternoon of Beethoven’s sonatas played by two renowned musicians, Angelo Rondello and Brittany Boulding, at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Blue Heron.

Rondello is a powerfully expressive pianist whose career has taken him across the United States and around the globe. Locally, he has played with the Bainbridge Symphony and Lake Union Civic Orchestra.

Boulding, a violinist, has appeared as a soloist with the Northwest Sinfonietta, Auburn Symphony Orchestra, Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra and internationally. She has played on Vashon with the Finisterra Trio.

The program will begin with Beethoven’s Spring Sonata and conclude with the Kreutzer Sonata.

Tickets are $20 for VAA members, $22 for seniors, $24 for general and $5 for students. Tickets are  available at vashonalliedarts.org and at the Blue Heron.
