The dynamic and experimental duo of Leah Mann and Ela Lamblin, the creative directors behind Lelavision, will return to the Blue Heron for two performances at 10:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Mann and Lamblin, whose work includes music played on instruments created by Lamblin and dance choreographed and performed by Mann, combine their creative talents with elements from science, research, experimentation, humor and play. The result is a unique performance full of surprise and beauty.

Mann and Lamblin’s collaborative endeavors overlap each other’s artistic domain. Theduo says they do not intend to create a narrative, but Mann said that as human brains try to make sense out of what is seen, stories emerge. Saturday’s performances will showcase some of Lelavision’s new, experimental work.

Tickets are available at vashonalliedarts.org and at the Blue Heron.

The 10:30 a.m. performance is part of VAA’s Family Series and tickets are $8 general admission and $6 for children.

Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. performance are $18 general admission, $16 for seniors and $14 for VAA members.
