Seattle-based Flamenco dancer Savannah Fuentes will bring her latest show “La Primavera, Flamenco en Vivo” to the Vashon Grange Hall at 8 p.m. Sunday.

Born in Seattle to parents of Puerto Rican and Irish descent, Fuenetes began studying Flamenco at age 17 at the Belltown Ballet and Conditioning Studio. She continued to develop her technique and her understanding of the complex art form during numerous trips to Spain. Fuentes has studied with many of today’s most distinguished dancers, such as Joaquin Grilo, Belen Maya and Isabel Bayon, but she claims that the majority of her development as an artist took place in Seattle under the tutelage of Maestra Sara de Luis.

An avid proponent of El Cante Flamenco (Flamenco singing), Fuente is dedicated to bringing traditional Flamenco singing to her audience. Fuentes will be joined by cantaora (female Flamenco singer) Kina Mendez from Jerez de La Frontera, Spain, and renowned Flamenco guitarist Gerardo Alcala.

Tickets are $22 for general admission, $12 for students and $7 for children. VIP tickets, which include a poster, can be purchased at brownpapertickets.com.
