The Ike Harmon Band, which plays original rock’n’roll, blues, folk and ballads, will perform at 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Red Bike. Vashon fingerstyle six-string guitarist Phil Royal will open for the band.

Island singer-songwriter Harmon fronts the band with a powerful voice. Lead guitarist David Noriega’s playing evokes such seminal influences as Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jimi Hendrix. Bassist Ben Rafael McQuillin is known for his avant garde sound, while drummer Emory Miedema-Boyajian’s sound is  inspired by Led Zepplin’s John Bonham.

The free cover show is open to all ages until 11 p.m., then 21 and older only.
