Young singers say hooray for Hollywood

The group will present “Lights! Camera! Action!” — a musical revue featuring songs from movies — at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec 13, and 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec 14, at Blue Heron Art Center.

More than a dozen pint-sized singers will take the Blue Heron stage this weekend to lift their voices in a tribute to the songs of the silver screen.

The young vocalists, ages 5 to 12, comprise Vashon Island Youth Chorus, a Vashon Allied Arts program directed by Marita Ericksen.
