Bergman, an aspiring photographer and senior at Vashon High School, took this shot after a long drive home from Eastern Washington recently. She said she loves this photo because “it makes me so happy to be able to come home. … Some of the sunsets are ineffable. When you get to enjoy them on the water, and see the silhouettes of other ferries and tug boats, it is even better.”
