VISD meeting: Last week’s paper gave an inaccurate date for the Vashon Island School District meeting. The meeting ordinarily would have been held this Thursday, August 14, but was pushed earlier to take place August 7. The Beachcomber was unaware of this date change and did not confirm the date change until after last week’s paper had already printed. Typically, the board meets every second and fourth Thursday of the month.
