The historic brick Vashon Landing building at the corner of Bank Road and Vashon Highway has been sold to a real estate agent and is being leased by three island partners with restaurant experience.

According to King County Assessor’s Office information, island attorney Matt Bergman sold the building on March 30 to Landing@Bank LLC. The LLC’s agent is listed as Breffni McGeough, a real estate agent with Bellevue’s TEC Real Estate.

Reached last week, McGeough said that islander Jacob Heil, who lived at Point Robinson as a caretaker for more than a year, is the main partner in the lease.

He has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, including serving as the manager of the Multnomah Whisky Library in Portland before moving to Vashon.

He said he did not want to release any further details about the plans for the building as there are many variables to still address.

“We’re all very excited for the timing and release of the details. We don’t want to do it prematurely,” he said.
