VHS wrestling: Final results from Idaho

The Vashon Pirate wrestling squad completed day two of the Tri-State Tournament in Coeur d’Alene, Idaholast Saturday, December 19 with two of the 15 entrants making it deep in the medal round.

The Vashon Pirate wrestling squad completed day two of the Tri-State Tournament in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho last Saturday, December 19 with two of the 15 entrants making it deep in the medal round.

Junior Bryce Hoisington and senior Logan Nelson both finished an impressive fourth.

Injuries continue to plague the Pirates, with Hoisington’s finish coming courtesy of an injury default. After the disastrous tournament in Idaho, the team looks to rebound at their own Rock Tournament on Tuesday,December 29. Next week’s edition will have a full recap of results from the Rock and the Everett Classic tournament on January 2.
