Almita Ranstrom

She was an artist, a teacher, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a great-grandmother.

Almita Ranstrom, August 31, 1928 – June 11, 2022, was an artist, a teacher, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a great-grandmother. She moved to Vashon with her husband, Jim Ranstrom, in 1992, where they lived out their retirement being the best grandparents.

Almita and Jim founded the Vashon Computer Club at the Senior Center. They volunteered with the youth of Student Link and Vashon Youth Council teaching computer skills and donating computers.

Almita is survived by her daughter Patricia Ranstrom, son Jack Ranstrom, granddaughters Nerissa Ranstrom and Hannah Morosoff, and her four great-grandchildren Nolan, Odin, Kyra, and Frey.
