Edna Velma Fox

Edna Velma Fox passed away July 2, 2004 on Vashon Island, Washington. She

was born July 16, 1907 in Red Lodge, Montana to Mary Agnes and Arthur

Thompson. She married Harold Macy Fox in 1928.

Edna is survived by her children: Bruce Fox (Marilyn), Sandra Whitney,

Sharron Powell (Vern), 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; a sister,

Hazel Schmeil of Bellingham, Washington and many nieces and nephews.

Mom will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, her skill and

expression in reciting poetry, and her love of travel in her later years.

She was a nurse in her early years, and then worked at Mt. Rainier ordinance

Depot and Camp Murray until retiring and moving to Bellingham.

We’ll miss you, Mom.

Graveside services were July 8, 2004 at Haven of Rest Cemetery in Gig

Harbor, Washington.
