Florence “Sunny” Baldwin passed away quietly on March 16, 2024, in Littleton, Colorado at the age of 83. The long-time Gold Beach resident moved to assisted living in Burien in November 2020. She moved to Colorado in February, 2023, to spend her remaining time near her granddaughter and her family.

Despite the moves, her heart remained on Vashon. Sunny remained true to her name to the end, sharing many laughs with her family and the residents of her facility. She is survived by her granddaughter Christina (Crystal Martinez) Jackson, great-granddaughter Calysta Jackson, daughters Kay (David Rainey) Jackson and Gina (Mike) Ayers, and her step daughter Kristi (David) Morrow. She will be missed.
