Helen “Nell” Luce

Helen “Nell” Luce was born in Chicago, Ill, November 13th, 1951. She lived on Vashon Island, Washington since 2013. She died on February 6th, 2023, at 3:10 pm at Tacoma General Hospital, ultimately from a stroke. She is survived by her husband, Robert Litman, and daughter, Meghan Traylor. She is also survived by four older siblings, cherished cousins, dear stepchildren, and beloved nieces. Nell’s galaxy of friends contained the most beautiful stars imaginable.

Nell moved to Arizona in 1975 and lived in Tucson for almost 40 years. She became Rolfer, where she poured her love through her hands. She also studied homeopathy, ayurvedic and Chinese medicine, herbal and flower remedies, Flamenco dancing, singing, ceramics, screenwriting, the Spanish language, and countless other disciplines, as her curiosity and passion were second to none. Nell traveled the world, from Barcelona to New Zealand, Australia to the jungles of Peru.
