She graduated from Everett High School in 1943.

Margaret was dedicated to the world of skating highlighted by competing at Nationals in 1947. The interest in skating led her to meet her future husband Albert Wolf. Margaret and Albert loved both roller-skating and ice-skating together. The two were married on December 17, 1949. Soon after, they began to start a family. Margaret would later recall catching Albert sneaking off to go skating without her when she was pregnant. She’d smile and say, “We loved to skate, and that was all we wanted to do back then.” They also enjoyed photography, specializing in weddings and portraits. Not only was she a beautiful subject; she was often his assistant — holding the flash.

Margaret worked for Seattle First National Bank 1958-1969. From 1965-1967, she was an active leader for a group of residents in fighting a condemnation for what eventually became the North Seattle Community College. The group was successful in getting adequate compensation for many of the local area residents.

In 1968, the family moved to Vashon Island. Margaret became a respected Bailiff in King County Superior Court for several judges between 1970 and 1988. In addition, she practiced real estate on Vashon for over 35 years.

In 1966, Albert was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Margaret will always be remembered for her strength and dedication as his caretaker for 20 years leading up to his death in 1992.

She is survived by her son, James Wolf, and her daughter, Loretta King. She also leaves her granddaughter, Tanzanica King. She will also be dearly missed by the countless lives with whom she shared her warmth and life-long friendship.
