Phyllis Van Horn died June 11, 2005, at her home on Kingsbury Beach on Vashon Island. She was 67 years old.

A celebration of her life will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 17, at the Vashon Methodist church. A full obituary will appear in next week’s Beachcomber.
