The Vashon High School boys soccer team played a state playoff game yesterday to qualify them for the state quarterfinals. It happened too late for the results to appear in today’s paper.

The Vashon High School boys soccer team played a state playoff game yesterday to qualify them for the state quarterfinals. It happened too late for the results to appear in today’s paper.

If the team won the game, the Pirates advanced to the quarterfinals, but if they lost, the team was done for the season.

The team played Overlake High School at Sammamish High School at 7 p.m.

To determine the team’s seed in the playoffs, the Pirates played two games last week. Here are their scores.

On Saturday, May 10, at Bonney Lake High School Stadium, Vashon High School 0, Meridian High School 2.

On Thursday, May 8, at Sunset Chevy Stadium, Vashon High School 2, Kings High School 3.
