The Vashon Blazers (U15) have been together, with a couple of minor changes, for five years now.

This is a group of boys who love to play soccer together who are also great friends. They work hard in practice and always give their best on the field.

The Blazers are a force to be reckoned with in the Tacoma Pierce County league. The boys will play in the President’s Cup District Final on Sunday, Nov. 23, at Starfire Soccer Stadium in Tukwila.

If they win this game, the team will advance to the state quarter/semifinal round.

The Blazers are Brooks Benner, Max Herrington, Jesse Turner, Jesse Hazzard, Nolan Moyer, Izak Anderson, Colin Milovsoroff, Keegan Oswald, Sam Crosby, Ezra Koenig, Ethan Albers, Walker Merchant, Joe Wald, Jacob Gateman and Andy Hennessey.

They are coached by Rob Oswald and Matt Crosby.

The girls U14 Vashon Eagles, coached by Mark Scheer and David Hackett, will also be playing in the district final for the President’s Cup this weekend.
